We mentioned last month that we were hard at work developing new rice cooker recipes and introduced the culmination of our research thus far: McDonald’s Miracle Steamed Rice, or McMiracle Rice.

Since then, we’ve unfortunately had difficulty reproducing the success of McMiracle Rice with other rice cooker combinations.

This got us thinking: perhaps it was not the cooking method, but the ingredients that made McMiracle Rice taste so good. In other words, maybe we should ditch the rice cooker and just start trying different things with a Big Mac Value Meal.

Now, one month later, we’re pleased to bring you Big Mac Bread.

Big Mac Bread is a finely-crafted bread using a rich variety of McDonald’s ingredients and flavors that mix together to give it a surprisingly crispy texture and exquisite taste.

The recipe is as follows:

1 Big Mac
1 McDonald’s French Fries (medium)
1 6-pc Chicken McNuggets
1 small coke
200ml water

1. Blend ingredients together into a batter
Place all batter ingredients in a blender and blend until they make a thick batter like in the pictures below and measure 200 grams for the bread. Drink any leftover batter; you spent all that money on your Big Mac Value Meal and you don’t want to let it go to waste.

2. Place ingredients in bread maker
Add what, yeast, sugar and salt per your bread maker’s instructions, but be sure to reduce the amount of wheat to make room for the McBatter. For example, if your bread cooker calls for 400g of wheat, use only 200g instead.

3. Bake
Make sure you’ve followed all of the directions for your bread maker, hit the button and wait. If your ingredients look a little watery you could rut 20-30ml of water or add about 2g of yeast.

And you’re done!

The bread seems to inherit the golden brown color of the Big Mac buns and smells just as good. While Big Mac Bread doesn’t rise as much as regular bread, each bite is packed with a meat and cheese flavor, making it almost more suitable for a dessert than side dish.

Of course, you don’t have to take my word for it: try baking a few loaves of Big Mac Bread for your next dinner party and let us know how it goes!
