A new promo video for the latest instalment in the Senran Kagura video game series tells of an exciting new piece of virtual-reality kit developed during production of the game. Whilst working on Senran Kagura: Estival Versus, apparently, some hard-working chaps in the “Department of Hyper Enormous Boobage Development” realised that the game’s female ninja characters’ chests were just not jiggling realistically enough. They set to work researching and designing the Pizap, a kind of treadmill add-on to gameplay in which players run after a well-endowed, bikini-clad woman and, er, watch her jiggle.
As you may have guessed, the Pizap is fictitious, as is Marvelous’s “Boobage Department” (although we do have to congratulate them on that name). But the promo video for it is real though, and it’s pretty hilarious. Join us after the jump as we check it out!
The Pizap, we are told, is a system which will shake the body and soul of the player. “When observed closely, we found that a sense of realism does not emerge when there is a lack of lateral swaying,” breast expert and designer Tamio says. “So we use a servo motor to control both vertical and lateral swaying.” The invention appears to essentially be a treadmill, on which a female animatronic torso acts as encouragement for the player to run. By running towards the boobs, you can progress through the game.

Without further ado, let’s watch the video in all its glory:
As you can see, the team carried out painstaking research into their specific field of interest:
Here’s one of the experts demonstrating the difference between a convincing and unconvincing fake boob:
We also get another look at Team Boobage’s first invention, the Head Mount π-Play, a wearable headset shaped like a woman’s breasts and worn over the eyes.
▼ Sadly (happily?) that one wasn’t real either. But you guessed that, right?
And we are treated to some words of advice from “Enormous Breast Expert” Hisashi, who offers up this titbit about dried plums:
Truly, this is food for thought! As the end of the video warns us though, the Pizap is still under development…what with it not being real and all. While you wait, they suggest you buy the game.
We suggest, however, that if you liked the look of this too much to be satisfied with a mere video game full of bouncing breasts, you should just bite the bullet and get an Oculus Rift and a boob mousepad like everyone else.
