KFC Malaysia has launched an investigation after a fist-fight broke out between employees in a branch of the restaurant in Kuala Lumpur. The fight, which happened directly in front of customers, was captured on camera and uploaded Facebook, where it has been shared and viewed thousands of times.

A video of the punch-up, which appears to show one member of staff verbally abusing another before a third employee dives in with a flying kick, was uploaded on January 17. KFC Malaysia was surprisingly quick to respond.

In the video, other staff in the Jalan Raja Laut store in Kuala Lumpur can be seen continuing to take orders and serve customers as the fight goes on in the background. At the end of the 36-second clip, the brawl appears to move into the kitchen. Since being uploaded last week, the clip has been watched over 60,000 times at time of writing.

Which also means approximately 60,000 people have yelled “gahhh vertical video whyyyy” at the screen.

Meanwhile, a staff member continues to serve a customer, who can be heard ordering a snack plate.

▼ “Yes, I’ll have that with a side of unnecessary violence, please.”

KFC Malaysia responded to the controversy online, saying the fight appeared to be “between two siblings over a private matter” and promising to investigate further:
