We’re out here in Los Angeles for E3, the largest annual video game and entertainment expo in the world, and we got things off to an awesome start at the Xbox Media Briefing on Monday. Check out our RocketNews24 exclusive photos and video from the event.

We were sure to show up extra early for the Xbox Media Briefing and we’re glad we did. The Galen Center at the University of Southern California can accommodate an impressive 10,258 people, and we didn’t want to be left out in the cold…well, technically a slightly chilly 64°F, but you get the idea, we didn’t want to miss out! Walking up to the venue, we saw a temporary stage set up for Major Nelson and his crew to conduct interviews. All that Xbox green got our hearts pumping…we were getting close!

▼  No lines outside yet.

We were shuffled up a set of stairs, around a few corridors, and were finally ushered into what appeared to be one of USC’s volleyball courts. There we would wait for another hour and a half.

▼  But hey, we got a nifty bracelet and a ticket promising a “special gift” at the end so we didn’t mind.

Once the clock struck 8:45, we were finally granted access to the Galen Center arena. We couldn’t help but feel a bit giddy as we tried our best to patiently shuffle in behind the long lines of media members also trying to get their first glimpse of the Xbox event set-up. Seeing quick flashes of green caught on tiptoe, we were hungry for the full view. And then we were in the arena, completely bathed in green.

We played the waiting game for a few more turns and finally, after what seemed like an entire morning, the media briefing started.

We were treated to non-stop games, and we’re not going to lie, it was FREAKING AWESOME! From Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare to Crackdown, the game trailers and in-game play kept coming. Sure, there wasn’t any talk of the new Xbox One hardware so soon after its release and many journalists have noted a lack of Xbox-exclusive games, but there’s no doubt that Xbox delivered on their promise of games, games, and more games. Now take a look at some of our photos from the event:

Stay tuned for more views of E3! We’ll be here all week!! And don’t forget to vote or leave a comment to let us know what you’re itching to hear more about.
