What will they think of next? From Japanese toy company, Takara Tomy, makers of an indoor kite and robotic tropical fish, comes a fried shark toy that looks good enough to politely refuse to eat.

Takara Tomy wondered what it would look like if a shark was coated in panko bread crumbs and fried whole, and with that in mind created the six different shark designs. They come in Great White, Japanese Saw, Whale Shark, Japanese Bullhead, Hammerhead, and Secret Shark:

▼ The secret shark fry looks like a manta ray…or a rat.

The little fried sharks can be found in Japan for 200 yen (US$2) each. So stop on by to your nearest toy machine in September and pick up a tempura shark!
