As you may know, Japan, specifically the Kanto Region, has been hit by the largest snowstorm in over a decade. Netizens in the area haven’t been shy about sharing the wonderfully bizarre and beautiful sights the several inches of snow has brought, but there’s one photo in particular that has us tickled. Showing Mr. Cup Noodle himself shoveling snow on one of the whitest days in Yokohama, this picture has been making the rounds on the Internet and delighting those who aren’t quite used to this much of the cold stuff.
The photo above, was tweeted less than 24 hours ago and has already been retweeted nearly 20,000 times. It seems the Cup Noodle Museum in Yokohama stayed open despite the inclement weather. Of course, they couldn’t have patrons slipping and sliding all over the walkways, so the museum sent out the best person for the job: Mr. Cup Noodle himself.
▼ He’s not doing a very good job…
But we suppose we can’t be too hard on him, he doesn’t even have eyes.
We’re hoping they put a heater inside his suit…or maybe it was hot water for a more authentic touch. Stay warm, Mr. Cup Noodle!
