The world of custom jewellery has been impressing us lately, with Evangelion couples’ rings and designs based on Pokémon, The Legend of Zelda and even Sailor Moon.

Now it’s time to turn our attention to a galaxy far, far away, where lovers can carry the force on their fingers with matching Star Wars rings featuring gorgeous lightsaber details.

Takayas Mizuno is a fourth-generation ikebana (Japanese flower arrangement) artist with an eye for detail and a passion for creating unusual designs for customers. The lightsaber-inspired ringset is the latest addition to his ever-expanding range, offering two different silver designs with red, green or purple zirconias from Swarovski.

Star Wars fans will know that the colour of the lightsaber is directly related to the Jedi’s relation to the Force and the crystal powering it. Takayas’ ring collection features these crystals in the form of Swarovski Zirconias, with each colour faithfully representing different lightsabers in the series.

▼ The Green Synth Ring gets its colour from a synth-crystal, as opposed to the naturally occurring crystals favoured by the Jedi and found in Ilum’s frozen Crystal Caves.

▼ The Red Dark Side Ring has a deep crimson colour, having been forged with a synth-crystal imbued with the Dark Side of the Force, and features gorgeous silver lightsaber hilt details on the side.

▼ The Purple Hurrikaine Ring represents the rare, deep violet hurrikaine crystal, reserved exclusively for those who have mastered the Force.

While the price of each ring is available only on application from his website, Takayas is keen to accommodate requests from customers around the world. If you gravitate towards more of a blue Jedi Guardian or yellow Jedi Sentinel crystal, the master craftsman will be happy to meditate on your request and forge you a ring-shaped lightsaber of your own!
