The Evangelion Store Tokyo-01 is celebrating four years this November as the one-stop-shop for everything Evangelion. The store has sold a number of snazzy clothes, fashion accessories, and of course, hordes of merchandise featuring characters from the series over the years. To celebrate their success, they’re rolling out the cast in a new lineup of clothes that you can wear too! Check out the new shoes, skirts and more, after the jump.
Shinji Ikari and the gang are known as gifted mecha pilots that save the world from the invading Angels time and time again, but did you also know that they’re fashion icons? For the fourth anniversary of the Evangelion Store, they made it work on the runway.
But the fun doesn’t end there! Each of these pieces of clothing is available for purchase as part of the celebration, no aptitude for piloting an Eva necessary.

A few of the items also come in character-specific versions so you can choose which one fits you best based on what character you like. Take for example this dashing skirt that Rei is wearing. The blue checkered pattern with the embroidered “00” looks darling when paired with a simple top.
But if you feel more like Asuka with her vibrant red colors, then her version of the skirt might be more your style. Just by changing the colors, the feel of the skirt becomes entirely different. The skirts are available for 9,800 yen (US $81) each and are one size fits all.
Another item that is given the individual character twist is a pair of heels inspired by Asuka and Mari. The teal version is modeled after Mari’s first plugsuit and the buckle is shaped like her signature glasses.
Then there is the Asuka version that is inspired by her red plugsuit, with the buckle modeled after the interface headsets the Eva pilots wear. The shoes are available in sizes 22 centimeters to 25.5 centimeters (US 5 1/2 to 8) and are priced at 15,800 yen each ($130).
This special fourth anniversary sale won’t be on forever, so be sure to head to the physical store in Harajuku or place your orders at the online store. You might not be fit to pilot an Evangelion dressed in these clothes, but you will look damn fine standing next to one.
