These incredible edible creations are from Tumblr user Star Stone. We’ve featured this confectionary genius’s work before, but we thought that their range of cakes and desserts deserved another post to show them off.

▼ The level of detail is astounding, and there are even hidden secrets!

▼ How cute are these marzipan figures of the main characters?

▼ There are also three adorable little Picori.

▼ The Kirby’s Epic Yarn tart uses different colored fruits as the base for each area of Patch Land.

▼ Sand with peach-custard mousse

▼ Metal with choco-banana-custard mousse

▼ Grass with azuki-matcha mousse

▼ These mirror tarts were created to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Kirby & the Amazing Mirror.

The chef also gives occasional glimpses into the creation process, so that anyone who is inspired can have a go themselves. Below are the basic instructions for the mirror tarts. Of course, they’re probably not aimed at beginners!

▼ First fill the tart bases with white chocolate, chocolate, and custard cream.

▼ Add different arrangements of fruits such as blueberries, kiwi, peach, orange, and apple sauce.

▼ To make the mirrors bake cookies in the desired shape then add crushed up candy and bake them again, using the same method as for stained glass cookies.

▼ Then finally add the decorative icing and sweeties, and some marzipan figures.

To see more of their work, check out Star Stone’s Tumblr. It’s impressive to see the evolution from relatively simple cookies to full-on works of art like those showcased above, and now I’m feeling inspired to have a go myself!
