So we might be a little late to the party on this one – on account of being at other parties that involved a lot of drinking – but we’re still taken with the Halloween spirit, and it looks like Thailand is too, because we managed to scrounge up a bunch of spooky, possibly “haunted” photos from the area recently.
Now, given that this is the Internet age, it’s a lot easier to spot a fake than it was way back when people were taking headless photos for kicks and folks thought photography itself was some form of black magic. For that reason, the majority of these pictures are, for better or worse, obvious Photoshops or employ some type of perspective trick, but whatever; it’s still Halloween to us until the hangover wears off, so let’s all just suspend our disbelief a little longer and have a look at this “spooky” gallery. You never know, there might be a “real” one in the middle of the bunch, mocking us in plain sight…
▼ Obviously, some of the photos take place in pretty macabre settings, such as this funeral for a rescue volunteer. Note the legs behind the picture frame.
▼ Another macabre setting: A car accident.
▼ Another macabre setting: Um… a recording studio?
▼ Scary or just stupid?
▼ Grudge kid meets LINE character.
▼ What’s that between these two smiling chaps?
Spoooooky! Or not. Unless, of course, any of these are real, in which case we’re sorry for making fun of you Mr. Ghost, please don’t pay us a visit thank-you.
