Are you tired of using plain old cream-colored masking tape for your masking needs? As you should be! Why keep using the same old drab colorless stuff when you have awesome options like this that will give any surface you apply it to the look of an electric circuit? Nazca Electric Circuit Masking Tape will snazz up any surface, your accessories, and more!
Available from printing company Cosmotech, and designed by graphic artist Aya Kodama, the base pattern is printed onto the tape, then gold and silver leafing is applied as an accent to give it a more realistic look.
#出来れば3000RTくらいまで行ったら商品化出来るといいな本気 の件 ⇒ https://t.co/clkOaTrSR8 6600RT。 企画書は通りましたので、詳細は決まり次第11月1週目頃UP予定! #followmeJP pic.twitter.com/4YYiCLVoou

It took designer Kodama roughly four months to complete the design, as well as come up with this unique backstory for the tape.
“It’s the year 20XX, and the earth has been engulfed in a blaze from the core! The oceans have dried up, the earth’s crust has been torn open, and it looks as if all living things have been annihilated. But, humanity has survived!
From the rubble of the city that was once TOKIO, a single roll of masking tape is discovered… Just like the geoglyphs of Nazca, the mysterious designs of the electric circuit reveal the technology of the past destroyed.
What sort of significance will this out-of-place artifact have upon humanity? The destructive blaze has done its damage, but the stories must continue to be passed down, from generation to generation.”
At the time the product was revealed, Kodama had only intended for it to be used for business goods, but a staff member of Cosmotech shared the product on Twitter, writing, “If we get 3,000 retweets we’ll consider seriously marketing this.” The post was soon retweeted over 5,000 times, and ss promised, a proposal has been submitted to bring this product to market.

We can only hope the proposal goes through, because we can’t wait to decorate ALL the things, particularly the ones like this cool tech-looking smartphone case!
