Hiroya Oku‘s 37-volume manga already inspired TV anime series, 2 live-action films.

Miracle Jump’s November issue had revealed last month that Oku and Keita Iizuka (Blue Gralia) will launch the GANTZ:G (previously titled G-GANTZ) manga in the December issue. The first chapter will include an opening color page. The description on the announcement last month stated, “A shocking work with a fresh, new take on a new ‘GANTZ‘ world!”

The manga inspired a television anime series animated by Gonzo (and released by ADV Films in North America) and two live-action films (released by NEW PEOPLE Entertainment). Dark Horse Comics released the final English volume of the manga in North America in October.
