While the concept of a wild pig going crazy in a restaurant sounds like a fun time, this video shows how harrowing it can actually be.

At about 3:30 a.m. in Uijeongbu, South Korea at a restaurant specializing in pork spine soup (gamjatang), a wild boar suddenly burst its way in and began running amok as this video posted to YouTube by Yes! Top News shows.

The video shows the boar dart into the establishment at high speeds, catching all of the customers off guard.

It then began hurling itself at the diners, some of whom narrowly avoided its charges as it bounced off walls and continued its relentless assault. Other customers and staff tried to slow down the animal using tables and bus carts.

Finally, while pursuing a fleeing person, the boar rammed its way back through the front glass door, cracking it in the process. It then charged off and back to the mountains located about a kilometer away.

Thanks to the time stamps on the security footage we can see that the entire ordeal lasted only 38 seconds, but in that short time the boar easily left its mark on the eatery. Luckily, no one was hurt in the incident.

Local police are warning Uijeongbu residents to stay alert as July tends to be when boars come out of the mountains in search of food. So if you do encounter a boar, keep your distance and pray that your encounter doesn’t happen in a pork restaurant because, as we saw, that just exacerbates things.
