Watch all the action at three separate Nippon-Ham Fighters games for the low price of zero yen.
The name given to Hokkaido’s top baseball team might sound a little odd, but the Nippon-Ham Fighters are actually one of the country’s best with a massive fanbase.
Currently playing a series of exhibition matches in a campaign called Respect Days Autumn Appreciation Festival, the team aims to highlight Hokkaido’s importance and contribution to Japan while also offering free admission to non-Japanese citizens as a special bonus.
▼ Tons of supporters from other countries come to see their games,
and this is one great way to thank them.

This promotion applies only to three matches at Tokyo Dome against rivals Chiba Lotte Marines and Rakuten Eagles on September 10, 11 and 12, with free tickets presented to foreign nationals who turn up at ticket booths with their passports.
Keep in mind that advanced reservations for these exclusive tickets is not allowed, so you would have to turn up on the day of. But if you do manage to snag one, ticket holders are granted free seating in the infield box located directly behind the home plate where batters face off against pitchers.
▼ A spectacular view of the action,
and one of the most exciting angles to spectate from.
What’s more, if you have any Japanese friends tagging along, they receive a discount that lowers the usual ticket price from 1,800 yen to 1,000 yen (US$9.40).
So mark those dates on your calenders, Nippon-Ham Fighters fans! And even if you’re not one yet, free admission to a game where top Japanese baseball teams clash is just too good to pass up. Japanese baseball is quite different from the rest of the world, so don’t let this opportunity slip by.
