Over 100 rosewood trees line this breathtaking little avenue named Rua Goncalo de Carvalho. The trees were planted 80 years ago by a German man working in the area and stand as tall as the seven story condominiums nearby. After twenty years short of a century’s worth of growth, the trees now embrace one another, forming a complete tunnel which hides the road when viewed from above.
