Dogs are some of the best pets you can have. They’ll play with you when you’re bored, they’ll snuggle with you when you’re sad, and they’ll be just plain adorable whether you want them to or not. And, if you’re really lucky, you can even get them to play dress up with you!

But just what character would you want your dog to cosplay as? There aren’t too many options, but here’s the one that should be obvious: Amaterasu’s wolf form from Ōkami!

Ōkami is easily one of the most highly-regarded video games in history thanks to its elegant art style and engrossing gameplay. It also didn’t hurt that it has one of the most distinctive lead characters in gaming history. We can’t think of any other games that featured a Japanese goddess in wolf form…

Of course, where there are passionate game fans, there is cosplay–but how do you cosplay as Amaterasu? Simple! You get a white dog and work some make-up magic!

Of course, some of us don’t want to leave all the fun to our pets. As beautiful as this cosplaying dog is, we still wish we could be Amaterasu! Fortunately, you too can become the beautiful video game wolf using a special costume blanket!
