Everyone has their morning routine. For some, it’s a cup of strong coffee. For others, a morning workout. And apparently for still others, a schoolgirl fantasy is what jumpstarts their day.
We just found out about the Japanese company that dispatches handsome men to lie down with women as they fall asleep, and here comes its polar opposite. For an as-yet unspecified fee, fledgling enterprise JKMorning (the JK stands for joshi kosei, or high school girl) will provide you with a morning wakeup call from one of its joshi kosei call staff members, providing the sort of surreal luxury you’d get staying in a hotel run by teenagers.
JKMorning’s teaser website trumpets its three pillars of customer service, which are:
1. Easy registration
Just provide your contact details , and right away you can request a wakeup call. You can also schedule regular calls coming at the same time each morning.
2. Real high school girls
Worried that this might be a scam involving women as old as 19, 20, or –gasp-, even 21 posing as joshi kousei? Fear not! JKMorning runs sufficient background checks on its call center workers to make sure they’re honest-to-goodness high school girls.
3. Safe payment method
All payments are made through PayPal, so there’s no need to give out your credit card information. And the fact that this means you won’t have JKMorning showing up on your monthly statement? Merely a happy coincidence, of course!
Like we said, several of the details surrounding the service are still up in the air, such as if the wakeup calls are live or recorded. It’s also not clear if customers can customize the message they receive or are stuck with something like “Get out of bed, you bum!”
JKMorning doesn’t even have an official launch date, but the company promises to send an email notice once service starts and also to provide special bonuses to those who preregister their email address on the JKMorning website now.
▼ We’re not sure whether or not whether or not plugging your email address in here also immediately puts you on some sort of watch list, but we wouldn’t be surprised.
