In perhaps the most genius use of french fries we’ve seen in years, Japanese convenience store chain Mini Stop has begun selling a number of Dragon Ball-themed sweets and fried foods as part of a promotion for upcoming movie Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the Gods.
Starting today, customers will be able to pick up everything from crispy “hair fries” (as we’re calling them) to pizza flavoured “genki tama” (dragon?) balls and milk pudding. If you’re a Dragon Ball fan, you’ll be sure to find something to take your fancy among the 13 original items going on sale.
The movie itself is set for release on 30 March, so you have plenty of time to load up on goods and perfect a baby dragon ball-shaped belly of your own. We’ll leave you now with the official trailer to whet your appetite. Happy munching!
