That’s right, Kodansha’s super popular manga series Shingeki no Kyojin: Attack on Titan has teamed up with Yahoo! Japan to bring Japanese smart phone users a terrifying titan-themed search engine!
Imagine the world overrun with enormous humanoid monsters whose sole purpose seems to be extinguishing the human race. What can anyone do to stop the carnage? The answer to that question is what the remaining humans on the planet have to find out in Hajime Isayama’s manga-turned-anime series, Shingeki no Kyojin: Attack on Titan.
Perhaps a simple internet search might help? To find the special Titan-themed search engine theme, simply access the Yahoo! Japan’s search engine from your smart phone’s web browser.
Input the characters “進撃の巨人” (or phonetically “Shingeki no Kyojin”) and tap the search button.
Voila!
The screen turns a rustic auburn to match the giant titan now filling your phone.
Search within the mouth of the giant titan!
Results come with character icons on the far right of the screen.
Eren and Mikasa are investigating your search topics.
This special theme can be accessed by searching any Attack on Titan keywords, so give it a try! Both iPhone and Android users are able to access the theme from the Yahoo! Japan mobile site. And remember, if the fear becomes too much to bear, you can return to the usual Yahoo! search setting by tapping on the link at the bottom of the screen labeled “通常テーマに戻す.”
