A Chinese woman jumped from her 12th story apartment and was amazingly saved by her downstairs neighbor on Sunday in Chengdu, Sichuan Province.
Reports said the woman allegedly had a fight with her family before she jumped from 12 stories up. Her suicide attempt failed though when her leg got caught on the railing of an 11th floor balcony.
Hsu, a resident of the 11th floor, heard a sound and opened the door. He was surprised to find the woman hanging upside down. Hsu immediately grabbed the woman’s legs to save her from plummeting to her death. The woman was pulled inside with the help of firefighters.
