The August issue of Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine is announcing on Thursday that Ryōsuke Fuji will adapt Hiroshi Seko’s Attack on Titan: Lost Girls novel into a manga series. The manga will debut in the magazine’s next issue, which Kodansha will publish on August 9. The manga will have a color opening page.

Attack on Titan‘s spinoff novel is adapted into a manga! The unknown story of a certain day in Annie and Mikasa’s life.
Kodansha published the original Attack on Titan: Lost Girls novel in Japan in December last year. The novel collects three short stories centered around Mikasa and Annie titled, “Lost in the cruel world,” “Wall Sina, Goodbye,” and “Lost Girls.” North American manga publisher Vertical announced at Anime Expo last week that it has licensed the novel.
In addition, the magazine is also reprinting Satoshi Shiki’sAttack on Titan: Before the Fall spinoff manga, based on Ryo Suzukaze’s novel. Vertical licensed and released both Suzukaze’s original novel and Shiki’s subsequent manga adaptation.
The magazine also notes that there will be an “important announcement” regarding Saki Nakagawa’s Attack on Titan: Junior High comedy spinoff manga in the magazine’s next issue. Kodansha Comics publishes the English volumes of the manga in North America, and published its third English volume on April 7.
The Attack on Titan: Junior High manga re-imagines Eren, Mikasa, Armin, and other cast members from the original manga as students and teachers at Titan Junior High School.
