Norastyle’s new leaflet has the fall and winter looks that all farming fashionistas will want to sport. Agriculture never looked so attractive!
The temperatures are cooling in most of Japan, and the second those cold winds pick up you’ll notice the people around you shed their breezy tank tops and shorts and opt instead for cozy cardigans, snuggly scarves and comfortable hoodies. Many people will do their darndest to stay indoors and enjoy a hot beverage rather than face the encroaching cold.
But that isn’t an option for Japan’s hard-working farming population. Rain or shine, the daily grind stops for no one! Early waking hours, late bedtimes and demanding physical labor make this occupation especially trying, but it’s even worse if you’re a fashion-conscious young lady who wants to feel cute and pretty in her everyday work space.
Thank goodness, then, for Norastyle. Their new free pamphlet shows off a line of clothes geared specifically towards agricultural workers, and works hard to promote brightness, color and beautiful patterns in all of its products. The end results are charming, Ghibli-esque coords that look classically cute while still being practical.
▼ The eye-catching print scarf, the patterned parka sleeves and pants and wine-red rain boots come together in a burst of wintry colors
While the line’s promotional leaflet stars five outfits on its front page, inside it goes into even greater detail. Hats, gloves and fabric masks are listed, as well as practical solutions like a hat with a fabric guard to keep you from breathing in all the gardening elixirs you treat your crops with.
▼ This segment of the leaflet is stuffed with stylish warmers for every bit of your body, plus cute boots and hats to keep you dry
Norastyle also keeps close tabs on what their targeted demographic wants to buy, judging from a section that deals with exactly that. In response to complaints that the free sizes were too small for certain buyers, they brought out larger sizes. When one consumer wrote “the things I put in my jacket pockets always fall out,” they updated their designs to have pockets that fasten shut.
▼ In one segment extolling the virtues of denim cargo pants, Norastyle lists some cute looks you can create from their catalog
You may think that all these curated photos of comfy farmers is enough, but guess again! If you fill out a post card and send it in to the company, there’s a chance you’ll win one of ten adorable free hats.
▼ While the toasty hats come in a variety of colors at market price, the ten free hat choices are limited to the color shown in each hat’s main photo.
Now we can all sleep a little easier at night, knowing the brave Japanese ladies tilling the fields and harvesting produce can continue to do so in warm clothes that look great! Let’s hope the male farmers can find some equally stunning attire, too.
