Nintendo has announced that it will be giving visitors to this year’s San Diego Comic-Con event the chance to get their hands on a number of as-yet-unreleased Nintendo games for Wii U and 3DS.
Being based in Japan, the spiritual home of video games, we’re used to feeling smug about getting our sticky fingers on most of Nintendo’s titles before many in the West, so you can be sure this news has left us greener than Luigi’s cap with envy!
That’s right game fans, Nintendo’s newest gems are all yours to try to break in their pre-release form just by attending the otaku extravaganza that is Comic-Con International! Still months away from their official release in many cases, attendees can try out the following forthcoming Wii U titles:
- Super Mario 3D World
- The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD (swoon)
- Bayonetta 2
- Pikmin 3
- Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
- Sonic Lost World
- Rayman Legends
- Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games
- New Super Luigi U
- Disney Infinity
- Skylanders SWAP Force
- Just Dance 2014
- The Wonderful 101
But wait, there’s more! 3DS fans can also sample:
- Mario & Luigi: Dream Team
- Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D
- Shin Megami Tensei IV
- Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate
Not to mention two games that the RocketNews24 team are absolutely itching to get their hands on:
- Yoshi’s New Island
- The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
So. Many. Gamessss.
Game Informer also reveals that, for those who are unable to pass through the gates to nerdy heaven and attend this year’s event, many of the titles will also be made available to play at the San Diego Marriott Marquis & Marina Hotel, so if you weren’t able to grab a ticket for the event itself but can’t bear the thought of missing out on all those games there’s still hope!
