Sony has just announced the release of two new PlayStation 4 consoles featuring designs from soon-to-be-released games Destiny and The Last of Us Remastered.
We’re not going to lie, they look pretty sweet.
The Destiny bundle comes with a white console featuring the Destiny logo and will be available in Japan for 46,980 yen (US$463) plus tax on September 11. If you’re thinking you’ve already seen a white PS4, you have. Here’s the Glacier White Destiny bundle available in Europe for 439.99 euros ($594):
It’s certainly sleeker than the Japanese version, but leaves you wanting a little more if you’re a Destiny fan.
If you’re in a darker mood, Sony Japan will sell a black PS4 featuring Joel and Ellie from The Last of Us, which will go on sale on August 21 for 47,980 yen ($473).
Both the Destiny and The Last of Us consoles make us wish we didn’t already have a PS4…we don’t exactly have tens of thousands of extra yen just lying around, but those new designs are tempting. Also, we’re positive these two are going to sell out faster than the non-gaming related Frozen PS4. What the heck was Sony thinking when they came up with that?
