It’s a bird…It’s a plane…It’s bread in the shape of an adorable flying bear!

The Kokone bread shop in Musashino-shi, Tokyo, has been the subject of a great deal of chatter on Twitter this week due to one of its current best sellers. Shaped like a bear flying through the sky, it’s got an adorable face and an adorable bear bum!

But the best part of the bread isn’t its looks: its head is filled with a homemade custard cream and its rotund rear end is packed with a special sweet potato. The dough is also mixed with cocoa powder to give it a “realistic” bear fur coloring.

This delightful little bread is made every day the shop is open, but there are limited quantities available, so if you are planning on eating a cute bear, make sure you get there quickly. Remember the old adage, “the early human gets the bear!”
