The results are in and the 2016 Manga Taisho goes to Golden Kamuy.
First awarded in 2008, the Manga Taisho (“manga grand prize”) is an annual Japanese manga award which is given only to series with eight or fewer collected volumes. This year, 11 titles that had at least one volume published between January 1 and December 31, 2015 were nominated, and Satoru Noda’s Golden Kamuy (also romanized as Golden Kamui) took home the grand prize.
