
Martin Hsu and Bigshot Toyworks have teamed up to create a limited run of “Miya-san” figures modeled after acclaimed director Hayao Miyazaki.
Sale of the six-inch figures will be donated to the “Karakuwa-Maru” organization to support restoration of Karakuwa in Kesennuma City, Japan after the March 11, 2011 earthquake and tsunami. Each figure costs US$95 and are limited to total of 300 figures. Preorders for your very own Miya-san “mentor” figure opened today. The figures are expected to ship in April.
