A Tokyo office worker says former champion boxer Christian Eugenio-Gomez threatened him. He and two other men were arrested, being suspected of being a yakuza enforcer.
Gomez, an American citizen, was a champion boxer in Japan. In 2009, he started working in Japan’s adult video industry, as well as becoming a bodyguard for one of the Japanese mob’s elite members.
In Tokyo’s Shinjuku district on May 27, A higher up ordered a shake-down, and sent Gomez along with 2 others to threaten a man who didn’t pay what he owed. They gave him 2 choices– pay up or cut off your finger.
Out of the three, only one has been charged so far; Gomez says while he was present during all this, he didn’t verbally threaten the man.
