If you ever wished you could visit the infamous candy house from Hansel and Gretel, then have we got the chair for you! Looking absolutely delectable and fairytale-ready, this “Hard Candy Stool” from Taiwanese designer, Jojo Chuang is the perfect combination of function and fantasy.
Not only do these stools scream out loud in vibrant pinks and purples, they almost seem to defy gravity, their melted candy sides rising towards the ceiling instead of dripping down to the floor.
And we just can’t get enough of the marbled effect Jojo Chuang used to color his creation. It’s a psychedelic color explosion! What’s more, because of the nature of the material, every single piece is completely unique, “just like a painting.”
The Hard Candy Stool series, unlike conventional wooden stools, is completely soft and makes anyone want to go over and give it a feel. Jojo says, in this way, he “approaches graphics through a more soft and tactile way.”
So if you want a delightfully different, somewhat zany conversation piece for your home or office, look no further than the wonderful foam furniture by Jojo Chuang!
