The idol group led by Ladybeard is ready to bring more of their unique musical talents to the world. But first, some epic promo photos.
Being the singing, dancing, destroying, bearded-beauty that he is, it’s no surprise that Ladybeard’s cross-dressing ways and crazy antics are really starting to work out for him. And it’s not just Ladybeard himself, but his equally amazing idol group, Ladybaby, that’s really finding their rhythm. And lucky for their fans, it’s been announced that their third single, “Renge Chance!”, will be released on April 13.
▼ Ladybeard is so excited!
Ladybaby are masters of combining the cute fun of J-pop and hardcore metal, which Ladybeard himself has tagged as “kawaii-core”. Their past two singles, “Nippon Manju” and “Age-Age Money” were quite well-received by Ladybeard’s adoring fans and the general public. Their new single though, which translates as “lotus chance”, might find a new audience in those who are big fans of Rock Lee from Naruto.

▼ Rie Kaneko who is already a master of the “final lotus”
▼ Rei Kuromiya is ready for her “Lotus Chance!”
The artwork and press photos for the new single show the members of Ladybaby dressed up like they are ready to take on Street Fighter‘s Chun Li. Perhaps they were inspired by how great Ladybeard looks cosplaying her? The addition of the ramen bowl “helmet” is definitely unique and shows that this idol group is ready for just about anything. However, the real question on everyone’s mind is: Is the world ready for more Ladybaby? We’ll find out on April 13, 2016.
