Beloved series Death Note is bringing fans a chance to team up with L for a realistic escape game as part of “Universal Jump Summer”, Shonen Jump‘s series of summer attractions at Universal Studios Japan. The upcoming attraction is a fully immersing, realistic escape game in which participants work alone or in a group of up to five players to “escape from the evil clutch of Kira by solving the mystery together with L.”
“Death Note– The Escape” features a four-story replication of the series’ Sakura TV building and will operate much like other popular, interactive locked-room escape games. The game will be held for a limited time atUniversal Studios Japan from July 1 to September 4.
The official website for “Death Note– The Escape,” which boasts a realistic environment and sense of urgency for players, provides more information on tickets, how to win a spot among the first players, and promotional items such as the game’s official clipboard binder and light-up pen.
Other new additions in celebration of Universal Studios Japan‘s 15th Anniversary include two other attractions for “Universal Jump Summer”, a 4-D Dragon Ball Z ride and a One Piece live stage show, along with Yo-kai Watch:The Real, in which participants use Yo-kai-spotting gear to search for hidden Yo-kai, and two segments, “Yarisugi!
