Here’s all the super-cool merch you can buy at Tokyo Game Show this weekend!
As previously reported, RocketNews24 was in attendendance at Tokyo Game Show 2016, Japan’s biggest video game and technology event of the year. We headed to the venue at Makuhari Messe in Chiba for the business-only days and ended up running amok like kids in a candy shop without even having to shove our way through crowds.
The business days are always nice and relaxing, and we were able to drool and coo over all of the event’s most awesome gaming-related merchandise without having to resort to grabby hands and pushing. (So, video games make us get a little crazy, but we can admit that.) Here’s a little taster of what’s available for purchase!
▼ Super cute Nintendo plushies! I wanted an Eevee but they were already sold out!
▼ Zelda and Splatoon
▼ Crisp and dapper school uniforms by Cospatio
▼ Plus cute anime waifus to decorate your gaming space
▼ Monster Hunter hoodies and tees
▼Resident Evil 20th anniversary goods, plus Resident Evil 7: Biohazard baseball caps
▼ Plus T-shirts!
▼ And some nostalgic goodies from the older games in the series
▼ Plenty of plushies were on sale at Capcom’s merchandise booth!
▼ Monster Hunter everything!
▼ Minecraft T-shirts, hoodies and goods!
▼ Plus gachapon machines!
You can also pick up some tasty game-themed goodies for sudden snack attacks during marathon game sessions. We like the Resident Evil curry. It’s very tasty (not itchy).
▼ Ace Attorney rice crackers!
▼ Persona 5 and Yakuza 6
Square Enix’s merchandise booth didn’t disappoint. Just like last year, you have to jot down the numbers of the items you want and present your card to the cashier.
▼ The figures are so cool!
▼And of course, there were lots of plushies featuring beloved Square Enix characters!
▼ There’s also a special stand for fans of the games’ music!
▼ Retro gaming sneakers!
▼ And of course, no trip to Tokyo Game Show would be complete without buying an official T-shirt!
