Chances are you’ve never seen Naruto like this: live-action and totally in your face!
Despite the series bearing the name Naruto ending a couple of years ago, people are still pretty fanatic about the well-known ninja story. Naruto’s son Boruto continues the next generation story in his own manga run, while the original anime continues to air around the world. Back in July of this year, Chinese game company, Oasis Games, in tandem with Bandai, released their officially sanctioned massively multiplayer online role-playing game Naruto Online in English. The game allows you to assume the role of a ninja in the Naruto world and go on your own ninja escapades as you jump, kick and jutsu your way through familiar events from the storyline. You may even get to re-enact one of the pivotal battles between friends and frenemies Sasuke and Naruto. It’s probably not going to look like this though…
▼ Let the stunning battle begin!
Created by YouTubers RackaRacka, they show you the best and worst of everything Naruto has to offer. Sponsored and approved by Oasis Games, this promotional video is likely to get a lot of views and generate interest for the game. If one of the actors looks familiar to you, that might be because you’ve seen this same team bringing you the epic battle of Star Wars vs Harry Potter. Thankfully, they bring the same sort of flare, special effects and comedy to this amazing Sasuke and Naruto battle, along with an insane crane shot.
▼ Not filmed on a green screen!
▼ Don’t look too closely at Sasuke…
No matter if you are a Naruto fan or not, you’ve got to hand it to RackaRacka because you can’t help but get caught up in some of the furious energy that is exhibited in the video. It kinda makes us want to jump back into the series from chapter one. Not episode one though, because that means we’d have to suffer through all that horrible filler.
