For those who are unfamiliar with the Chinese zodiac, 2015 will be the Year of the Sheep, which means that as the new year draws near, we can expect Japan to shower us with tons of fluffy sheep-motif products. Disney is quick to hop on the bandwagon with their new Tsum Tsum zodiac series. Just look at those adorable characters!
Tsum Tsum minimalizes our favorite Disney characters into cute plushies meant to be stacked on top of one another. In celebration of the Year of the Sheep, Disney will release a limited edition ‘Sheep Tsum‘ at selected Disney stores in Japan on December 26, featuring Tsum Tsum characters dressed up in soft, fluffy sheep costumes.
The ‘SheepTsum Set’ comes in a set of ten small SheepTsumplushies packaged in a special box that reads “New Year 2015” and will cost 5,000 yen (US$42). If all ten of them are too many to handle, you can alsopurchase Donald, Daisy, Chip, Dale or Pooh individually at 500 yen ($4.20) each. It seems like Pooh is their super star as he is also available in M-size at 1,800 yen ($15).
▼ Don’t you just want some to stack up in your room?
▼ The Pooh and Piglet combo never seems to go wrong.
