Filipino impersonator Paolo Ballesteros works his make-up magic yet again, this time transforming himself into the ladies of Miss Universe.
Paolo Ballesteros first got his start in showbiz as the co-host of the Philippines’ longest-running lunchtime television show, Eat Bulaga! After then becoming increasingly famous following a number of memorable drama appearances, he moved on to modeling and doing celebrity impersonations.
With a great-grandfather like of Filipino national artist Fernando Amorsolo, it’s apparent that there’s no shortage of talent in the family. With just a make-up palette, brush and impressive contouring and blending skills, Ballesteros has used his face as a canvas to turn himself into a number of celebrities, such as Caitlin Jenner and Beyoncé.
“Call Me Caitlyn…”
But while many of the Miss Universe beauty pageant contestants were taking off their make-up to promote beauty confidence, Ballesteros was busy caking it on and practicing his best Miss Universe, Miss Columbia, and Miss USA.
▼ Miss Universe, Pia Alonzo Nyurtzbach, from the Philippines (or possibly Megan Fox)
▼ Miss Columbia, who was announced as the Miss Universe winner after Steve Harvey’s infamous blunder
▼ Miss USA with what appears to be a slightly uneven tan
Currently at 1.4 million followers on Instagram and counting, it’s a wonder the Western media has largely ignored the actor/comedian, but not for any lack of effort on the part of Ballestero’s fans. In the past they’ve petitioned talk show host Ellen DeGeneres to have in on the show, and last October finally got his American break after being featured on the Cosmopolitan US website. For those of you on the other side of the Pacific, he was even mentioned on the program Tokudane.

That’s a pretty impressive list, but just how does he plan on topping Miss Universe? I guess we’ll just have to wait until his next makeover update.
