If a guy yells “Hey, fattie!” at you, the natural reaction from many girls would be a good slap in the face. But apparently when it comes from the perfect lips of a hot guy, it’s just motivation…
The new app from game makers Creative Freaks and Visual Works is the girls’ version of the popular Nenshou! app where moe anime girls cheer you on in your weight training. The difference being that while men need wide-eyed encouragement and compliments, the app makers seem to think that girls benefit more from some healthy abuse.
In “Nenshou! For Girls” three gorgeous guys will give you the old carrot-and-stick treatment to encourage you on your weight loss journey. While you exercise, you can also enjoy a burgeoning relationship with one of the cast of ikemen (hot guys) who has been so romantically insulting you.
The app is based on an ab training program with additional content set to include arm and leg shape-up exercises, and is billed as a “romance fitness adventure app”; there’s nothing like killing two birds with one stone.
At least the insults will uttered in the most attractive of tones, with veteran voice actors Daisuke Namikawa (Mobile Suit Gundam 00), Ryouhei Kimura (Eden of the East), and Katsuyuki Konishi (Bleach, Hetalia) lending their vocal talents.
The iOS version will be released sometime in August and will be available for download free of charge.
