Mobile suits come in all shapes and sizes, but none are as more recognizable, perhaps, as the original RX-78-2 from Mobile Suit Gundam. Apparently the designers at Reebok thought so too, and are honoring the classic series with a new Gundam x Reebok collaboration.
These special Reebok Insta Pump Furys have a white mesh base, with trimmings in classic RX-78-2 blue, yellow, and red. References to the mobile suit are imprinted on the insoles, as well as the heels.
For those whose allegiances lie with Zeon, the Insta Pump Fury sneakers also come in an MS-06S Zaku II in Char Aznable’s signature red.
The sneaker collaboration is timed for the 20th anniversary of the Insta Pump, and is just one of the many collaborations and special edition sneakers planned for this year.
