Manga fans will probably be familiar with Shonen Jump, the weekly manga publication by Shueisha that has brought to us some of the hottest manga titles of all time, including One Piece, Hokuto no Ken (Fist of the North Star), Slam Dunk, Naruto, and more recent hits such as Kuroko no Basuke (The Basketball that Kuroko Plays) and Haikyuu!!, just to name but a few.
Being the indisputable leader of the manga industry, Shueisha continues to mesmerize manga lovers with new titles, and now, online manga that moves. Ridiculously large, bouncing boobies after the break!
Recently, the manga giant launched a new web manga site, Shonen Jump+, and one of the sensational features of the new service that has fans talking is an installment of To Love Ru Darkness, which has some dark secrets embedded in the otherwise regular-looking web manga pages.
In a regular manga, the visual enjoyment of looking at the voluptuous figures of female characters probably ends before you can even exclaim “boobies!”. On Shonen Jump+, however, the fun starts with randomly clicking on various areas of the page to hunt for the special effects hidden within the frame, and then the fun is extended for a few more seconds as you make a couple more clicks on your mouse to replay the special effects.
▼ Looks like a normal page, doesn’t it?
▼ Clicking on the character’s bosom makes her proud assets jiggle! Manga magic!
▼ Here’s another booby trap!
▼ It’s not always about boobs. There’s, um, ice cream too.
Of course, there are a lot of manga titles that have gotten their anime debut, but that’s a different platform altogether. Moving manga! How awesome is that! I only hope that they’re not going to stop at just animating girls with unusually active chests and phallic-shaped ice cream, and extend the magic to other manga genres as well.
If you could choose a manga title to receive the movement magic, which would be your top choice? My all time fave is Slam Dunk, but I’d pick The Prince of Tennis for this one because, well, good-looking young men playing with small balls across a net, enough said. Share your favorites in the comments section below!
Head over to Shonen Jump+ (Japanese) to read the rest of the To Love Ru Darkness chapter and have fun finding the hidden effects!
