I subscribe to a handful of beauty gurus on YouTube, and the moment Frozen turned out to be such a mega hit, I knew I had to brace myself for a rush of Elsa-inspired makeovers taking over my subscription list. True enough, the Elsa-themed tutorial videos came in like a wrecking ball and suddenly my YouTube feed was flooded with women sporting blonde braids and smokey purple eyelids.
The thing about these makeup tutorials is that many of these YouTube beauty gurus have a rather extensive collection of makeup palettes and tools, so they can easily create different looks, but the average person might not own products in all the colors required to replicate Elsa’s look. That, was until e.l.f. launched their Disney Elsa makeup series that provided the full package at affordable prices. Check out the lineup after the break!
Good quality makeup does not come cheap, but that doesn’t mean that makeup brands that come with wallet-friendly price tags are all horrible. e.l.f. (short for Eyes Lips Face) is an international cosmetics brand known for its wide range of value-for-money cosmetic products and tools. With prices starting from US$1, e.l.f. cosmetics are a teenage girl’s best bet for makeup firsts, and their various product lineups including a professional makeup range pretty much caters to makeup users from all walks of life.
e.l.f. has previously produced makeup palettes inspired by other Disney princesses and villains such as Ariel, Aurora, Snow White, Jasmine and Maleficent, so it took the company a while to finally catch up on the Disney princess lineup, but some weeks ago, e.l.f. finally released the Disney Elsa limited edition series that literally gives you everything you need to create the snow queen’s look. And the products come in beautiful Frozen themed packaging to boot!
*All prices quoted below are taken from Drugstore.com.

▼ The cover. Elastic bands at the corners hold the book closed so things don’t get messy.
▼ e.l.f. Disney Elsa Snow and Ice Glow Eye Shadow – $6.99
A palette containing nine eye shadows for creating more than just Elsa-inspired looks.
▼ e.l.f. Disney Elsa Snow and Ice Icicle Face Palette – $6.99

▼ e.l.f. Disney Elsa Super Glossy Lip Shine – $2.99
Available in three color variations.
▼ e.l.f. Disney Elsa Icing Eye Shadow and Eyeliner – $4.99
▼ And if you’re wondering how the colors turn out on an actual person, here’s one among the many tutorial and review videos available on YouTube.
We’ve seen countless items of Frozen-related merchandise, and to be honest, a lot of them aren’t very impressive beneath their special packaging, but these makeup items are probably some of the very few products that fans and even non-fans could not bear to just “let go”. Even if you don’t want to look like Elsa, there are dozens of looks you can conjure up with those lovely colors!
The following items are not produced by e.l.f., but we also found Elsa makeup bags that would perfectly complement the e.l.f. Disney Elsa makeup range, for the perfectionist hardcore Elsa fans.
▼ SOHO Disney Elsa Train Case – $11.99
▼ SOHO Disney Elsa Organizer – $9.99
▼ SOHO Disney Elsa Wristlet – $7.99
▼ SOHO Disney Elsa Round Top – $7.99
If you’re interested in getting your hands on the e.l.f. Disney Elsa range, we found them retailing on Amazon, Drugstore.com and Walgreens.com. Do bear in mind that they are limited edition products, so don’t sit on it for too long lest they run out!
