It’s humans versus mutated super-strong humanoid cockroaches in an epic battle to take over Mars. Complete with Dragon Ball Z yelling.
The first season for Terra Formars ran for 13 episodes in 2014, so fans have been patiently waiting for any news on the second season. After releasing a promotional image in November 2015, fans only had to wait until Jump Festa 2016 for an extended look. Well, a new promotional video did drop over the weekend at the festival, and Terra Formars fans are screaming in excitement.
▼ “uuuuuuaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh!”
▼ “aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh!”
▼ “ooooaaaaaaaaaaaaa!”
▼ “woaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!”
▼ “uuuuuuaaaaaaaaaaaaaagh!” *wink*
▼ “Aaaaaah! Cockroaches!”
The second season will welcome back all the cast members of the original season, but the animation team behind the show will be quite different as TYO Animations will join Liden Films who worked on the first season. The people behind Terra Formars: Revenge will be Michio Fukuda (Director), Naruhisa Arakawa (Series Composition), Atsushi Itagaki and Kagetsu Aizawa (Character Design), and Takafumi Wada (Music).
Look forward to a brand new season of cockroach battles in April 2016!
