Eyewear brand Paris Miki teams up with Japan’s favorite Barbie-like doll, Licca, to offer a cool and sophisticated glasses line for women.
Licca dolls have been a kid favorite since they were introduced by toy brand Takara Tomy in . Earlier in March, Licca-chan and friends got a royal make-over as part of a limited edition Hina doll set for Girls’ Day, and now she’s the feature of a new sophisticated eyewear line as part of a collaborative effort between Mitsukoshi department store brand Room Room and Optique Paris Miki, proving that no girl is ever too old to enjoy Licca’s timeless style.
These new glasses, following in the footsteps of Room Room’s previous whimsical eyewear designs, come in four different styles and in four different colors, featuring Licca-inspired houndstooth, initial, cute, and floral patterns.
▼ Houndstooth (Comes in tortoiseshell, blue, red, and black)
▼ Initial (Comes in brown, navy, wine, and black)
▼ Cute (Comes in green, blue, dark pink, and light pink)
▼ Floral (Comes in tortoiseshell, navy, wine, and black)
Retailing for 9,800 yen (US$93) each, each pair of glasses includes thin UV lenses and an original Licca-chan case. Those interested can also download free, Licca collaborative art wallpapers by visiting the Optique Paris Miki official page here.
