Every kitty was kung fu fighting!
We often think of cats as relaxed, or maybe even lazy creatures. It can be a hard image to shake, what with felines often being at their most photogenic as they enjoy the cat naps to which they lend their name.
But things were very different when Twitter user @sakata_77 came across this kitty, who seems to be a physically active martial arts master.

“Someone must be teaching him kempo,” chuckled @sakata_77, referring to the Japanese unarmed self-defense disciplines. Indeed, not only does he have an impressive fighting stance, he’s also apparently got a penchant for throwing punches at imaginary foes and spinning out of the way of their would-be counterattacks.
There seems to be something about @sakata_77 that brings out a passionate fighting spirit in cats, as the feline photographer’s Twitter and Instagram accounts are full of photos of them in the middle of acrobatic strikes.

So remember, the next time you’re out for a stroll and spot a kitty, remember to keep your guard up.

You can follow Casey on Twitter, but that doesn’t mean he’ll have your back against these fearsome felines.
