It’s the perfect place to fill your belly and get your fill of awesome weaponry.
Tucked away between hardware and general stores in the Kowloon district of Hong Kong is a unique gem – a themed cafe specializing in medieval weapons and armor.
Aptly named Medieval Weapon Cafe, the shop offers exactly what you would expect it to – light meals, snacks, and drinks, along with weapons, weapons everywhere!
Of course, if you’re going to be wielding weapons, you need proper armor too…
Okay, so they’re not historically accurate representations of the weaponry of the times, but any sword fanatic is sure to be pleased by the variety on display.
▼ Look at all of the shininess. (◎▽◎)
And of course, being a cafe, they serve a variety of teas, coffee, and fruity drinks, which you can have served in special mugs.
Take your pick of a knight’s helmet…
…or a stealthy ninja mask mug!
If all the excitement of the place has you feeling a bit peckish, Medieval Weapon Cafe has a number of modern meals to stave off the hunger. They also offer party plans for groups of four to nine people, which includes a selection of entrees, snacks, and drinks, in addition to a souvenir photo of your group taken in costume!
If chilling is more your thing, bring you laptop to use the cafe’s wifi…
…or bring your friends to enjoy any number of the board games they have on hand.
▼ Behold, a modern joust.
Medieval Weapon Cafe has received many positive reviews on their Facebook page, complimenting everything from the food, atmosphere, and the shop owner, so you can be sure that if you decide to stop by while visiting Hong Kong, you won’t be disappointed!
