A perfect way to get maximum mileage out of Nintendo’s epic crossover fighting game.
Fighting game Super Smash Bros. Ultimate will be arriving soon in stores on December 7, allowing players to take control of a ton of new video game characters like Isabelle from Animal Crossing to blow the competition out of their Nintendo Switch screens.
Aside from enjoying one-on-one duels or massive chaotic brawls, players can also to train and develop their own AI-controlled character, using an Amiibo toy figurine to store the respective AI character’s data and progress in an embedded chip. As Super Smash Bros. Ultimate comes with a truckload of fighters, those hoping to collect all the Amiibo characters will have to hunt high and low in stores.
The good news is, online shopping website Amazon Japan will be offering a limited-edition bundle that comes with a crazy 63 Amiibo figurines, including new additions like Inkling from Splatoon and Piranha Plant from the Super Mario franchise.
▼ A smasher’s dream come true.
The exclusive bundle includes a hanging scroll depicting the classic Battlefield stage, as well as a special box to store all 63 Amiibo in. Only 50 sets will be made available online on Amazon Japan starting from December 7 at 6:00 p.m. (Japan Standard Time), so those hoping to get their hands on this treasure box of a collection will have to be quick when the time draws near.
Not all of the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate characters are covered in the set, but 63 Amiibo does make up a huge chunk of the total 70 fighters available. Not only will they make an awesome display at home, each figurine potentially extends the game’s life by many more hours. There’s nothing like pitting characters that you have personally trained against each other in free-for-all battles.
▼ Get a display case and show off your collection.

There has been no word on the pricing yet, unfortunately, but the bundle’s web page here may be updated in the near future.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate’s predecessor may have surpassed a million copies sold two days after launch, but we think this latest entry, with its impressive list of characters, will far exceed everyone’s expectations.
