In what has to be one of the most random, yet awesome, releases we’ve seen so far this month, Japanese toy and figure fanciers Kitan Club has recently launched a range of six key-chain figures based on… Sylvester Stallone as John Rambo. No, we’re not quite sure why either.
Reasons for their existence aside, the figures are startlingly detailed and feature the headbanded hero in a variety of poses such as crawling through the jungle, firing a rocket launcher, and what we could swear is him shouting “Adrian!!!” as old Sly confused the role with that of boxer Rocky Balboa–the other grumpy, muscular man who is fond of fighting.
▼ Rocket Rambo
▼ Rambow
▼ “Adriaaaan! Ah, crap, I’ve done it again! Sorry, guys. Steve, can I get a latte?
The figures are available for 300 yen (US$3) each from hobby stores and gachapon capsule machines, or as a special six-figure pack from Amazon JP (though they appear to be sold out at time of writing).
As cool as the Rambo figures are though, we think we’re rather more taken with Kitan Club’s Fuchiko OL figures. I mean, look at her: she’s just so cute!
