This handy, dandy chart lays out a number of characters with their voice actors and shows.

Fans of video games, animated movies and TV shows often find themselves hearing a voice and thinking, “Hey, that sounds just like another character.” Turns out that the voiceover industry employs very talented actors who often end up giving life to a wide range of characters. You’ll often be surprised upon finding out that some actor has voiced a number of your favorites, but who has time to look up all the credits just to figure it out? Not us!

And that’s why it’s always nice when someone creates an easy infographic showing exactly what we want to know! In this case, fivesquid has put together an infographic showing famous English-speaking voice actors, the characters they have played, and the shows the characters appear in.

Let’s take a closer look at some of the highlights.

▼ Here we have Haku from Spirited Away and Wakka from Final Fantasy X, who is somehow also Bender.

▼ It’s amusing to think about how Totoro (My Neighbor Totoro) and Abu (Aladdin) have the same voice actor. Same goes for Deidara (Naruto) and Sonic the Hedgehog!

▼ And how could we not bring up the voice of the classic Kaneda (Akira). Also worthy of note, Luke Skywalker, aka Mark Hamill himself, voiced numerous great roles, and Troy Baker provided the voices of Joel (Last of Us) and Yamato (Naruto).

There are a ton more great examples of voice actors playing great role; this chart only barely scratches the surface. We’d also love to see an infographic made for Japanese voice actors, since many of them have played numerous famous characters as well.
