1st film won 2013 Audience Award at festival.

Director Yūichi Fukuda is returning to direct the film, and Ryohei Suzuki and Fumika Shimizu are returning to reprise their roles as Kyōsuke Shikijō/Hentai Kamen and Aiko Himeno, respectively. New cast members include Yuuya Yagira in the role of Tadashi Kotomi, as well as Ayame Misaki, Sarutoki Minagawa, Hirofumi Arai, and Kyosuke Yabe.
The film’s plot will center around the continued disappearance of panties all over the world. While Kyōsuke is now in college, and has taken a different path from Aiko, both stand up to face evil.
The first live-action film adaptation of Keishuu Andou‘s The Abnormal Super Hero Hentai Kamen manga opened in 2013. The film earned 100 million in its second weekend, far above the projected gross for the movie. The first film screened at the New York Asian Film Festival in 2013 and won the Audience Award.
The festival will also present Kiyoshi Kurosawa‘s Creepy and Hideo Sakaki‘s (live-action Sutegataki Hitobito)Kiyamachi Daruma films.
Subway Cinema launched the New York Asian Film Festival in 2002. The festival “selects only the best, strangest, and most entertaining movies to screen for New York audiences, ranging from mainstream blockbusters and art-house eccentricities to genre and cult classics.”
The New York Asian Film Festival will run from June 22 to July 5 at the Film Society’s Walter Reade Theater, and on July 6 to 9 at the SVA Theatre.
