The official website for the Pokémon Go App game announced on Friday that the next addition to the game will be “Buddy Pokémon.” Players will be able to select one Pokémon at a time to appear alongside their trainer, and doing so will allow for in-game rewards and experiences. Players will have the ability to change their Buddy Pokémon at any time.
The Pokémon Go app launched in select countries including the United States on July 6, and has since launched in more than 50 countries.The developers will announce more information about the “Buddy Pokémon” feature in the fall.
