For a nominal fee, members get to drink as much delicious beer as they want for a year.
Love beer? One place allows customers to chug down unlimited amounts of that liquid gold for just three bucks, but as it’s really only that cheap once a month, those craving for more beer heaven will have to look elsewhere.
Look no further than Osakanabaru-Bleu. It’s a bar located in downtown Shinjuku that offers an attractive plan for those who love all-you-can-drink deals. It costs 12,960 yen (US$116.45) upfront for a one-year membership, letting you drink to your heart’s content with each two-hour visit.
▼ The cozy bar’s a great place to relax and knock back many, many cold ones.
Osakanabaru-Bleu’s usual unlimited drinking plan for non-members costs 2,500 yen, so members will get their money’s worth with just five visits. It sounds like a reasonable deal to be honest, but what makes it even better is this: included in the 12,960 yen membership is a one-time package that lets you and a friend enjoy a Fisherman’s Course (plus all-you-can-drink sessions for the both of you) for free.
▼ The Fisherman’s Course is the ultimate seafood feast for two people.
Let’s do a little math. The Fisherman’s Course costs 6,000 yen, and unlimited drinking plans for two people would amount to 5,000 yen (2,500 yen x 2), which brings the package’s total value to 11,000 yen. With the annual membership being 12,960 yen, that’s a difference of just 1,960 yen.
▼ 1,960 yen for one whole year of all-you-can-drink beer? Say goodbye to soberness.
Several types of craft beers are available on tap for members, including Blue Moon, Lagunitas India Pale Ale, and Bass Pale Ale. Osaka beers Minoh W-IPA and Minoh Stout are also on the list, including one beer that’s rotated out every month, making a total of seven beers.
One notable requirement for members enjoying their two hours of unlimited drinking is that each session requires at least two orders from Osakanabaru-Bleu’s food menu. The cheapest item goes for 300 yen though, so that isn’t too bad at all.
▼ Gotta get snacks to pair with all those delicious beers after all.
You can find out more from crowdfunding website Makuake.
If you’re planning to splurge on a splendid feast with that special someone anyway, why not give this deal a go? Hurry though as membership is on a first-come-first-serve basis, limited to only 100 people. Once that’s filled up though, perhaps it’s time to turn to a dream company that encourages you to drink while you work.
