Kyoko Kano cosplaying as a JoJo’s Bizzare Adventure character has the Japanese netizens abuzz with praise!
The Kano Sisters Mika Kano and Kyoko Kano are a celebrity duo who are famous in Japan for their outrageously glamorous (and highly revealing) fashion along with their their purportedly ultra-luxurious lifestyle.
But regardless of the outlandish way they showcase themselves, the team of Kyoko and Mika Kano have gained a strong following also because they always steadfastly communicate the message that it’s important to stay true to yourself and at the same time never force your opinion on others.

The duo have also been doing quite a bit of cosplaying recently, and the latest cosplay performance by the elder sister Kyoko, has met with huge praise on the Internet.
And what’s surprising is that the cosplay wasn’t of a princess or a sexy anime character, but of one of the male protagonists in Hirohiko Araki’s hit manga and anime series JoJo’s Bizzare Adventure!
That’s right, Kyoko turned hersfelf into Giorno Giovanna, the main character in the series’ fifth arc, Golden Wind and shared the pictures this week on Instagram.
▼ The result really is quite impressive!

Viewers aware of Kyoko’s hourglass figure were stunned by the transformation. Apparently, Kyoko used a bust nipper to flatten down her considerable bosom, then placed a muscular body plate over that, followed by a “muscle shirt” to complete the male look.
Internet users immediately responded to the expertly executed cosplay with overwhelmingly positive comments:
“Wow. Just, wow!”
“Amazing! I can’t believe they recreated that look, especially the hairstyle.”
“Where did her bust disappear? Now that takes dedication!”
“It’s hard to believe someone can actually look this much like Giorno!”
“Amazing cosplay quality! Such a beautiful Gionrno.”
▼ The younger Kano sister, Mika, has also cosplayed as a JoJo character, Trish Una, from the same Golden Wind arc. The attention to detail is again impressive. (Click arrow for more.)
It so happens that the Kano sisters are professed devoted fans of the JoJo franchise and have actually written numerous blog and Instagram posts on the series, including detailed lists of their favorite characters and “stand” abilities.

What makes all of this particularly enjoyable is that over the years, the Kano Sisters have shown themselves to be genuine lovers of manga and anime, even having participated in several comiket events as a vendor.
We certainly hope they continue to share their love of manga and anime culture with us all, as we’d love to see more dazzling cosplay photos from them in the future!
